Cinco de Mayo is Excelente at Speak Easy
Our most recent Speak Easy on May 5th at Cheshire was another fun time with plenty of excellent local writing on display. We had nine readers (unfortunately the wonderful Evvy Fanning was unable to attend), two of them visiting our stage for the first time. It was a nice mix of poetry and prose with topics from motherhood to gender dysphoria to an erotic pierce set in a boot shop. There was something for everyone.
Next Up: Our last show before our summer break, it’s Speak Easy: Stories with Cocktails, where we team up with the Rochester Cocktail Revival for a show where all the readings feature cocktails and each member of the audience gets to enjoy two hand-crafted cocktails which are included in the ticket price. Come check out one of our most popular shows! Get your ticket before they’re gone!
