Cold Drinks and Hot Readings at Speak Easy

Scott Seifritz Uncategorized

You’d never guess we were in the midst of the lazy days of summer at our August 12th Speak Easy based on the energy coming from the stage. Among our nine readers were five who visited us for the first time, and they wowed the Cheshire audience with some amazing performances. It’s such performances which remind us of why we created Speak Easy in the first place: so that all writers can be heard. You never know when you’re going to witness the next great voice.

Be sure to check out the pics below, and if you missed out, be sure to sign up on our mailing list so you’ll be reminded of our future events.

Next Up: We’ll be on the fringe of Fringe Fest on September 16, so make your way over to Cheshire for another Open Topic Speak Easy. Tickets are available here.

Lineup for Speak Easy No. 20, Sunday 8/12/2018, at Cheshire:
It’s You — Scott Seifritz
Blue Skies — Christine Green
Us Again — Noor Lima Boudakian
Conversation with My-Selves — Kevin Watt
TKO — Stella Charlotte
What If — Ellen Comisar
