Edward P. Jones’s novel The Known World won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. His short stories have appeared in Essence, Callaloo, and The New Yorker, and he has published two acclaimed story collections: Lost in the City (winner of the PEN/Hemingway Award) and All Aunt Hagar’s Children. He lives in Washington, DC and teaches fiction writing at George Washington University. Reception to follow.
