Speak Easy No. 2 is in the Books!

Scott Seifritz Uncategorized

Our second Speak Easy took place at Cheshire cocktail bar this past Sunday (2/12/2017), and based on the feedback and audience reactions, it was another smashing success. We had nine speakers reading their works, many for the first time. The theme for this event was Love & Relationships, and our audience was treated to stories ranging from the heartfelt to the laughter-inducing.

In a format change from last time, we held all audience questions until the end of the program and brought all the readers on stage for a short Q&A session. That proved to be a successful arrangement and one that we intend to repeat in the future.

We look forward to continuing our Speak Easy series monthly at Cheshire for the foreseeable future. Our next two events will be on Sunday, March 12, and Sunday, April 9. We hope to see you there! Because of the limited capacity of the venue, attendance is by invitation only. If you’d like to attend or read at an upcoming event, please fill out the form here.

Please be sure to check out pictures from the February Speak Easy below, and don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list on the bottom of the page so you know what’s coming up!
