The tales may have been strange, but the quality of the writing was what we’ve come to expect at Speak Easy – impressive! With stories of dreams coming true, heads being displaced, and zombies reflecting on how they came to be, Speak Easy: Strange Tales was the perfect kick-off to the Halloween season.
We had a mixture of first-timers and old favorites among our nine readers, and the same could be said for our appreciative audience. It was another packed house for our 10th show in the series. In fact, even after selling out we had people turn up at the door, and being that we can’t say no, we managed to squeeze in a few more seats.
Next up, it’ll be an open topic Speak Easy event on Sunday, November 12th. Anything goes at these, which makes them a lot of fun. If you’re interested in attending, please get your tickets here.
Please be sure to check out the pictures from the October Speak Easy below, and don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list so you know can stay in the know!
