We’ve Got a Good Thing Going Here!
Speak Easy No. 3 was held at Cheshire cocktail bar this past Sunday (3/12/2017), and like the previous two, it was a full house. We had an impressive selection of readers, and a very appreciative audience. Based on the quality of readers and audience feedback, we know we’ve got something good going here, and we intend to keep giving local writers a chance to be heard.
We listened to past feedback, and at this Speak Easy we served fresh French press coffee from Joe Bean, as well as some delicious baked goods and popcorn. Rumor has it, there may be sandwiches at April’s event. (We’re not sure who April is, but hopefully she’ll be on hand with sandwiches at our event as well.)
We look forward to continuing our Speak Easy series monthly at Cheshire for the foreseeable future. Our next event will be on Sunday, April 9. We hope to see you there! Because of the limited capacity of the venue, attendance is by invitation only.
If you’d like to attend or read at an upcoming event, please fill out the form here.
Please be sure to check out pictures from the March Speak Easy below, and don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list on the bottom of the page so you know what’s coming up!
